OSIsoft PI to be integrated into Werum's PAS-X
Lüneburg, Germany, 5 May 2014 - Werum IT Solutions AG and OSIsoft recently entered into an OEM relationship which will see Werum’s PAS-X Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for the Pharma and Biotech industries imbed OSIsoft’s PI System technology as its underlying Real-Time data infrastructure.
The PAS-X Historian, powered by OSIsoft’s PI System, will be used to collect and organize data from various instruments, SCADA systems, and other data sources to enable PAS-X to take advantage of the Real-Time data management and integration capabilities of the PI System. Under the agreement Werum IT Solutions will be able to directly provide its customers with the PAS-X Historian powered by OSIsoft’s PI System. Further enhanced usage of additional PI System capabilities outside of those provided by the PAS-X Historian under the OEM agreement will also be available to customers via additional licensing from OSIsoft.
