| PAS-X User Group Meeting 2008

Parsippany, NJ, June 26, 2008 - This year's U.S. PAS-X User Group Meeting took place in Morristown (NJ). Many of Werum's customers arrived in the evening before the meeting to attend the dinner reception. This by now traditional soiree took place in a relaxed atmosphere, and the guests took advantage of this time to network or get tuned into the topics planned for the following day.
Friday morning, the day started with a continental breakfast and then the real PAS-X User Group Meeting kickoff began. Werum America's VP Sales & Marketing Dietmar Mueller opened the conference and gave the floor to Hartmut Krome.

In the following sessions the audience gained valuable insights into MES strategies and programs provided by Werum key customers: A large U.S. pharmaceutical company presented the status of its PAS-X-based MES programs "A User Perspective on MES". After that one of the worldwide leading biotech companies gave a review on its MES program - after three years of cooperation with Werum. Then a large pharmaceutical company explained its global MES program: "Developing a Global Strategy for Operational Excellence and Manufacturing IT".
The second part of presentations was more product-related: SAP Industry Director Joe Miles started with the introduction of Werum's brand-new SAP-Endorsed
Business Solution PAS-ECMI. In the following session Rolf Blumenthal, Senior VP International Consulting with Werum gave an update on the PAS-X development plan.

Research, probably one of the most renowned consultants/ analysts in the pharmaceutical industry, was the key note speaker of this year's User Group meeting. His performances are known for their striking style, and his numerous comments and to-the-point statements during the presentations display great insider knowledge. The audience was awaiting his presentation with a sense of anticipation. And they were not disappointed. Roddy Martin indeed talked turkey, following the title "Operations or Innovations Excellence: Your choice; But are you ready?"

During the breaks the User Group participants took the opportunity to exchange information and to engage themselves in the ever so important networking. In parallel Werum presented a demo system of the latest product version PAS-X V3, which was received with interest and much positive feedback.
Finally Dietmar Mueller concluded the event, and he received excellent feedback from the participants.
